For dancers

One to one, until the way you think about dancing has actually changed.

Every programme below is the same work at a different depth: 75-minute sessions with me, coaching and mentoring together, session notes and recordings you keep, and WhatsApp access between sessions for the days that matter. The longer you commit, the less each session costs, and the more of the work actually lands.

The programmes

Deepest first. The arithmetic is on every row.

All prices are exempt from VAT. All sessions are 75 minutes, online, and scheduled around your rehearsal and performance calendar.

Most transformative

Metamorphosis

Six months · 14 sessions · fortnightly

Six months of deliberate work on the mental, physical and emotional roadblocks together. This is the programme for the dancer who doesn't want a patch on the current version of herself. She wants to become the next one. Long enough to survive a full season, an audition round, an injury, a casting she didn't get, and to come out the other side differently.

  • 14 × 75-minute transformational sessions, roughly fortnightly
  • Coaching and mentoring combined
  • Written session notes and recordings after every session, yours to keep
  • Tailored resources: exercises, videos, podcasts, reading
  • Premium WhatsApp support for seven months
  • Community membership included throughout

Application, then a conversation. I take a limited number of six-month clients at a time because I am also dancing.

Transformational Season

Three months · 7 sessions

Three months on the mental, physical and emotional roadblocks: long enough to carry you through an audition season or a demanding block of repertoire, and to see the difference in performance rather than only in conversation.

  • 7 × 75-minute transformational sessions
  • Coaching and mentoring combined
  • Written session notes and recordings after every session, yours to keep
  • Tailored resources between sessions
  • WhatsApp support for three months

Single session

One session · community members only

One 75-minute session for something specific and immediate: an audition on Friday, a conversation you're dreading, a decision you can't make. Open to community members, which is deliberate: it means we start with shared language instead of spending your session building it.

  • 1 × 75-minute coaching and mentoring session
  • Written session notes and recording, yours to keep
  • Two follow-up exercises to take into the week

The method in full

Uncover, Build, Perform.

Every programme runs the same three phases. In a season we move through them once; in six months we go round again with the harder material, the part you didn't want to look at in month one.

Uncover Build Perform

Phase one

Uncover

We start with an Energy Leadership Index assessment and a long debrief, then map where it actually shows up: class, casting, the wings, the mirror, the group chat. Most of what runs a dancer has never been named out loud. Naming it is the first thing that moves.

  • Energy Leadership Index assessment and debrief
  • Trigger mapping across class, casting and stage
  • The story you're currently telling about your career

Phase two

Build

Then we build what replaces it. A pre-performance routine that is yours rather than borrowed. NLP tools for nerves, focus and recovery. A way of receiving corrections that keeps the information and drops the verdict. And a roadmap toward the role you actually want, written down.

  • Your own pre-performance and pre-audition routine
  • NLP tools for nerves, focus and recovery
  • A written roadmap for the next two to three years

Phase three

Perform

Then we take it into the real thing and keep adjusting: through audition season, through the premiere, through the long middle of a season when the discipline gets boring. We review actual performances, not hypotheticals. This is the phase dancers underestimate and the one that makes the change permanent.

  • Live support through audition season
  • Reviewing real performances and real auditions
  • Keeping it when the season gets long

In their words

Dancers who have done this work, in their own words.

I worked with Naira in the lead-up to several performances where I was dancing bigger roles and experiencing lots of worry and self-doubt. Working with her completely shifted how I felt. By asking concise questions, she helps you clarify what you are feeling by tapping into your own resources, knowledge, and capabilities. I owe the success of my performances and the feeling of peace to Naira. Of course, she is also a professional, so she understands all the demands inside out. I can highly recommend Naira to all professionals and dance students.

★★★★★

My work with Naira has been truly transformative. Through her guidance, I've been able to gain perspective on my past, develop tools for staying confident and positive in the present, and establish clearly what I want my future to look like. I finally understand my power as an individual and what my specific goals and priorities are in life.

The Audition Week Protocol

A seven-day mental preparation plan for the week before an audition: what to do each day, what to stop doing, and exactly what to run through in the twenty minutes before you're called in. Written by a dancer who has done forty of them. Built for audition week, and it works the same for any week that matters: a premiere, an exam, a casting you care about.

  • Day-by-day, from seven days out to the walk in
  • The twenty-minute pre-performance reset
  • What to do with the result, either way

One email with the protocol, then an occasional honest note about mindset in dance. Unsubscribe in one click. No sharing, ever.

For parents

If the dancer is under 18, you're part of this too.

A large part of my work is with pre-professional students, and for dancers under 18 the structure changes slightly, on purpose. Here is exactly how it works, so you know what you're saying yes to.

Written consent first

No coaching starts for a dancer under 18 without a parent or guardian's written consent. Before session one, the three of us agree the ground rules together: you, your dancer, and me.

What stays private

Sessions are confidential, including from the person paying. What does and doesn't get shared with you is agreed in advance, openly, with your dancer in the room. That privacy is a large part of why the work works.

What this is, and isn't

Coaching is performance mindset work, not therapy. If anything in our sessions belongs with a clinician, I will say so to you and your dancer directly, and help you find the right person.

The practical side

Sessions are 75 minutes, online, scheduled around school and training. You receive the invoice; your dancer keeps the session notes and recordings. They are theirs.

The habits your dancer builds now are the ones they will take into a company. It is considerably easier to build them at sixteen than to undo them at twenty-five.

What this is, and what it isn't

Coaching is not therapy, and I'll tell you when you need something else.

In scope

Performance mindset, confidence, audition nerves, focus, motivation, career direction, comparison, perfectionism, taking feedback, returning after injury, and the ordinary business of holding a demanding standard without turning it against yourself.

Out of scope

Eating disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, self-harm, medical or physiotherapy advice. These need a clinician, and I keep a short list of psychologists and dietitians who understand dancers. If something in our work belongs there, I will say so in the session, help you find the right person, and, if it's useful, keep coaching alongside them.

Everything said in a session is confidential, including from a parent or an institution who is paying. Dancers under 18 are coached with a parent or guardian's written consent, and I'll agree with all three of you in advance what does and doesn't get shared.
